HK is still socially antiquated

The fact that a transsexual need to make a legal challenge to marry nowadays blows my mind.

For once! I've actually changed my sleeping schedule

I'm actually naturally waking up early on a weekend.

Dom you're such a trooper

This has been the epic cheer of the day.

Guess the snow has finally started.

Got no pictures yet because I don't have a good enough camera on hand.
Rather fitting to my mood actually.

sudo kill -9 romance

That is all.

One more hour

One more hour of sleep, and a couple of weeks of waking up to sunlight again.

Poppy pin

I view wearing the pin as a sign of respect for the fallen, and I know they use it as a fundraiser. But couldn't they use a pin that won't poke you, or fall off every time you move?

Is tactile response dead?

Am I the dying breed who cares about tactile response while typing?
I have yet to see as much vitriol as people complaining about the clicky feature on the Storm2.

I've tried it, and I love it. Compared to the iPhone/iPod touchscreen keyboard, you know when you've typed something, and I can freely type as fast as my 2 thumbs can on the Storm2.

It's no coincidence that I do use the Das Keyboard (or prefer mechanical switch keyboards in general). I think people just don't know what they're doing when they complain about them.

Trip to Toronto

Went back to Toronto after 3-4 years. Lots in Toronto have changed.

Sam's record should be gone. TTC tokens aren't looking like dimes anymore (though I bet they're still an accessibility hell for the visually impaired). Lester drives a different car, and I don't ask others to cart me around as much anymore.

Lots about me hopefully have changed.

I'm less frivolous than before, but not exactly cheap when I have to get something.

I'm more contemplative, and moderate myself more.

The landscape changes, Toronto or your inner self. The only thing to strive for is to make yourself better, hopefully matching the magnificent view off the CN Tower.
